Our Story
Elaz Rannaghor Catering is the culinary brainchild of two friends from Kolkata who ventured into Bangalore 15 years ago. They started with a quaint shop offering Bengali delicacies, which blossomed into a restaurant and, eventually, a full-scale catering business 10 years ago. Navigating through cultural shifts and initial hardships, they found joy in embracing the local flavors of Bangalore and South India.

The duo discovered a critical shortfall in the quality of food preparation, particularly with vegetables and meats, a gap that went unaddressed by many caterers who relied heavily on outsourcing. These caterers acted more as middlemen, aggregating orders and outsourcing the actual food preparation to external vendors, resulting in a lack of control over the quality and authenticity of the dishes served.. Determined to raise the bar, they set up separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking, with specialized chefs for each cuisine.
Our Bengali dishes are prepared by chef from Bengal with over fifteen plus years of experience, while our North Indian cuisine is entrusted to a Garhwali chef from Dehradun, with more than 13 years of culinary expertise. Moreover, our Italian, Continental, and Chinese offerings are the pride of chefs who evolved from humble beginnings in street stalls to prominence in top-tier Mumbai and Bangalore restaurants.
With the passage of time, we've grown to manage our own warehouses, cloud kitchen of 30000 sqft in Bangalore and a fleet of trucks, establishing a self-reliant supply chain with strong roots extending back to Kolkata, where our dedicated team ensures the essence of our heritage is reflected in our dishes. At Elaz Rannaghor Catering, nothing is outsourced, allowing us to guarantee authenticity and a personal touch in every aspect of our service.
